Nightwish

Nightwish es un grupo de Symphonic Power Metal procedente de Finlandia, conocidos en todo el mundo por sus fuertes y melódicos riffs de guitarra, atmósferas de órgano y sintetizador, potente batería y claro sonido de bajo que hace un buen contraste con su apoyo filarmónico/orquestal. Nightwish es considerada la banda más representativa y pionera de este género musical.

Su género musical es bastante discutido. Cabe señalar que son muy reconocidos por haber brindado una gran diversidad de cualidades de power metal llevándolo a un nivel muy potente y a la vez combinando el género con metal sinfónico, algunos toques de folk, thrash metal y algunos vestigios de heavy metal siendo éstos los que ponen a debatir la etimología de su música. Nightwish es la banda más exitosa de Finlandia con más de 7 millones de copias vendidas a nivel mundial, 1 disco de plata, 11 discos de oro y 30 discos de platino.
